Easy2Say（好說）是一個即時對話翻譯的 App：一個人說英文，另一個人讀到華文；一個人說華文，另一個人讀到英文。你說你的語言，對方讀他的語言，同一支麥克風，同一個螢幕。 Easy2Say is a live conversation translation app: one person speaks English and the other reads Chinese; one speaks Chinese and the other reads English. You speak your own language, and the other person reads theirs — one microphone, one screen.

它是在地翻譯：不需要帳號，不需要網路服務，沒有雲端，沒有遙測。說過的話，只在這台裝置上。 Everything runs on the device: no account, no network service, no cloud, no telemetry. What you say stays on this device.

麥金塔電腦（推薦）：需要 macOS 26 以上；Apple 晶片（M1／M2／M3／M4）或 Intel 機型都可以。Windows 電腦目前不支援。 Mac (recommended): macOS 26 or later; works on both Apple silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs. Windows is not supported.

iPhone 或 iPad：需要 iOS 或 iPadOS 26 以上。目前為開源版本，安裝需要有技術的朋友透過 Xcode 協助；電腦版安裝最簡單，建議先從電腦開始。 iPhone or iPad: iOS or iPadOS 26 or later. The iOS build is open source and currently requires Xcode to install; the Mac build is the easiest way to start.

第一次使用某種語言時，Apple 會先下載該語言的在地的套件（建議在有網路的地方先開一次）；之後的辨識與翻譯，全部在裝置上完成。 The first time you use a language, Apple downloads its on-device assets (best done once with a network connection); after that, recognition and translation run entirely on the device.

1. 選擇兩種語言：一種是「正在說的語言」，一種是「想讀到的語言」——例如 English 與 繁體中文。實際可用的語言，以畫面上的選單顯示為準。 Choose both languages: one being spoken, one each person wants to read — for example, English and Chinese. The picker shows the exact choices available. 常用對話語言：英文、繁體中文、簡體中文、粵語、日文、韓文、法文、德文等；另有印地文、泰文、越南文、俄文等翻譯選項。Conversation languages include English, Traditional/Simplified Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, and more; additional translation pairs include Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, Russian.
2. 把螢幕放在你們中間：直向時上下排列，橫向時左右並排。也可以把其中一半翻轉一百八十度——裝置平放在桌上，兩人面對面，各自讀到朝向自己的那一半。 Set the screen between you: portrait stacks both halves; landscape places them side by side. You can also flip one half 180° — lay the device flat on the table, and each person reads the side facing them. 這就是「同桌視圖」：翻譯不是隔著螢幕，而是隔著桌子。This is the across-the-table view: translation not through a screen, but across a table.
3. 按 Start，自然說話：說的話和翻譯會同時出現。房間吵雜時，點一下任一半畫面，指定現在是誰在說話。 Tap Start and speak naturally: speech and translation appear together. In a noisy room, tap either half to say who has the floor.

• 沒有帳號，不需要註冊任何資料。 No account; nothing to sign up for.
• 沒有雲端——語音與字幕不會送到任何 Easy2Say 的伺服器；因為根本沒有這個伺服器。 No cloud — audio and captions are never sent to an Easy2Say server, because there is no Easy2Say server.
• 沒有遙測——不統計、不分析、不上傳使用行為。 No telemetry — no analytics, no tracking, nothing uploaded.
• 辨識與翻譯使用 Apple 的在地技術，在裝置上完成。第一次下載語言套件之後，離線也能用。 Recognition and translation use Apple's on-device technology. After the first language-asset download, it works offline.

轉譯可以很快。一句話說完，另一種語言已經在了。 Carrying words across can be quick. A sentence ends, and another language is already there.

快有它的用處：粗略的翻譯能讓人先看見一段話的樣子，也能讓更多人靠近。接著要問，快的時候，還有什麼跟著不見了。 The speed is useful: a rough translation lets someone see the shape of a text, and lets more people come closer. Then ask what else disappears when it is this fast.

三件容易失落的事。人離場——話交出去，本來會在旁邊解釋的人就不在了。沒有人說明——沒有傳承、也沒有解釋，留下來的話可能被聽偏、譯偏，甚至用偏。過程被跳過——一切都快了，得來的東西，不一定還讓人覺得珍貴。 Three things are easily lost. A person leaves — the words are handed over, and the one who would have explained them is no longer there. No one explains — with nothing passed on and no explanation, the shape of the language left behind may be misheard, mistranslated, or misused. The process is skipped — everything is faster, and what arrives may no longer feel valuable.

雙語並排，是把兩套世代的記憶留在同一張桌子上。 Two languages side by side keep two generations of memory at the same table.

放在「好說」裡，情景是坐在一起的兩個人。兩種語言並列在同一個畫面，人還在；說過的話留在紀錄裡，回頭看的時候，原文還在；麥克風與螢幕留在你們中間，翻譯發生在這段對話裡。判斷，留給在場的人。換過語言的句子，可以很多。這一頁在意的，是在場的人還能不能一起判斷，經驗還能不能在對話裡流動。 In Easy2Say, the scene is two people sitting together. Both languages stay side by side on one screen, and the people stay; what was said stays in the record, so the original is still there when you look back; the microphone and the screen stay between you, and the translation happens inside this conversation. Judgment stays with the people present. There can be many sentences in another language. What this page cares about is whether the people present can still judge together, and whether experience can still flow through the conversation.
